USAF Enterprise IT as-a-Service
RSG Federal has been supporting the United States Air Force (USAF) Enterprise IT as-a-Service (EITaaS) Integrated Program Office (IPO) since 2018. We deliver our professional services solutions across the USAF EITaaS IPO's strategic, operational, and tactical levels of execution. Our innovative VUCA project management approach and integration service solutions significantly contributed to the successful completion of USAF EITaaS' Risk Reduction Effort (RRE) execution phase. We are proud to have played a part in the USAF's mission success.
RSG Federal continues to deliver professional services to the EITaaS program as the USAF prepares to transition to a full-production enterprise service solution.
Our ITIL Master, David Wood, developed the EITaaS IPO's foundational Op Model governance document based on the DoD's Organization & Functional Guidebook. In addition, he developed an innovative prototype service assessment framework for the EITaaS solution. Both innovative prototypes were built on the ITIL 4 framework blended with other best practice frameworks (e.g., PMI, NIST, DESMF).

RSG Federal served as the lead contractor for integration efforts across the EITaaS solution architecture; DISA CAP/IAP, USAF APCs, USAF Core Services, IPO Vendor schedules, USAF enterprise change management. This included establishing and transitioning the RRE Vendor integration function, Seams Management, responsible for operationally integrating vendor solution processes and technologies.

We performed the migration architect role for the EITaaS End User Services (EUS) supporting the configuration and deployment of ServiceNow to a commercial cloud. This included leading the EUS Vendor to implement the new ITIL 4 process framework. In addition, our staff collaborated with the EITaaS Metrics Team and EUS Vendor to develop the EITaaS executive metrics dashboard solution.

To ensure the USAF EITaaS RRE achieved its' stated objectives within an extremely volatile, uncertain, complex, and ambiguous (VUCA) execution environment, our staff executed RSG Federal's proprietary VUCA Project Management approach. This approach is a combination of waterfall & agile practices blended with U.S. Army infantry tactics. Our staff was able to fluidly and rapidly resolve complex issues which was a decisive factor towards EITaaS' mission success.
